2003 Honda Odyssey Struts and Shocks for Better Handling
What is your driving style: Normal Driver
Vehicle Setup: Front Wheel Drive
Suspension Type: Regular Shocks or Struts
Question: Good morning, I need to replace the shocks and struts on my 2003 Honda Odyssey. The last time I did shocks and struts was on a Toyota Tundra. I went with a Bilstein monotube design. I couldn't find a monotube design for the 2003 Honda Odyssey on your website (or anyone else's for that matter). Can you tell me if I have the option to go with an upgraded shock/strut for this vehicle, and if no - would you recommend the KYB or Monroe? I see you carry both brands, but that they are the older twin tube design.
Answer: It looks like you're right, I can't find a monotube for the 2003 Odyssey. I would recommend the GR2 for you if you like the firmer, more controlled ride that the Bilsteins gave your truck. The KYB GR2s are typically valved stiffer than the OEM units or the Monroe Sensatracs, so you'll get less body roll and a more controlled feel through bumps and corners.
