Question:
I have a 2003 Dodge Durango 4x4. I pull a trailer on weekends with a band what kind of rear shocks would good for me? I have been looking at Monroe brands.
Answer:
Monroe shocks are very good OEM replacement shocks, but for towing or hauling we recommend upgrading to heavier duty monotube shocks like the Bilstein Heavy Duty, KYB Monomax or Edelbrock IAS Performer. Any of these high quality heavy duty shocks will give you better control over your truck and trailer, especially at highway speeds.
If you're having touble with your truck sagging, we have an airlift airspirng kit, which is an inflatable airbag that works alongside your spring and shock to give you extra carrying support when loaded up, but can also be deflated so that it doesn't ruin your ride quality whn the truck is empty.
