Question: My Park Avenue has rear self leveling shocks. The system that provides air to the shock in NOT working. Can a standard Park Ave shock without self leveling be used as a replacement?
Answer: Because the rear airshocks help to hold the rear of your Park Avenue up, you can't just swap in standard shocks. The rear springs on air suspension Park Avenue models are softer than the ones on standard cars, so if you don't replace the shocks with another capable of holding the car up, your rear end will sag.
